Bowing At Your Feet – Paris, August 1973

My dear spiritual master, here my head touches the dust of your divine lotus feet, a rare and most cherished blessing. Though I can never repay my debt to you I promise to dedicate myself, now and forever, to sharing my good fortune with others.

“Remembering the small amount of water that was sprinkled on it as a sapling by a kind person, the coconut tree gives humans plentiful coconuts and sumptuous sweet water throughout its life. Similarly, a sadhu never forgets even a small favor and they dedicate their lives to repaying it.”
