Our Festival of India in Poland will begin towards the end of June and continue until August 20. It will be our 27th year of hosting large festivals along the Baltic Sea coast. All glories to those devotees who spend their summers with us, giving their lives and souls to spreading the glories of the holy names far and wide.

“The devotees of Krishna are the most exalted persons on this planet, better than kings, all of them, so we should always remember that and, like the bumblebee, always look for the nectar or the best qualities of a person.”

(Srila Prabhupada letter to Atreya Rsi; February 4, 1972)

The Path to Attaining the Mercy of Lord Nityananda /

“Nityananda Prabhu approached Jagai and Madhai at the risk of being personally injured and still He definitely delivered them. The world is full of Jagai’s and Madhai’s; namely drunkards, women-hunters, meat eaters, and gamblers, and we will have to approach them at the risk of insult, injury, and similar other rewards. To face such reverse conditions of life and to suffer thereby the results of actions is considered as the greatest penance and austerity in the matter of spiritual advancement of life.”

Devotees of the Supreme Lord

,
“Kirata, Huna, Andhra, Pulinda, Pulkasa, Abhira, Sumbha, Yavana, members of the Khasa [ Mongolian ] races and even others addicted to sinful acts can be purified by taking shelter of the devotees of the Lord, due to His being the supreme power. I beg to offer my respectful obeisances unto Him.” [ SB 2.4.18 ]

In the Shore of the Ocean of Love

“O friend of the world! O Ocean of love! The populace has become full of deceit and bereft of knowledge. O my master! Kindly give them shelter at Your lotus feet, for the holy name, uplifter of the fallen, has become manifest from You.”
[ Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya, Susloka Satakam, verse 21 ]

An Invitation to Chant Harinama by Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur

, , ,
“Why did I, the most unfortunate fallen soul, not take birth at the time when Sri Gaurachandra inundated the entire world, including the highest mountains, with the flood of love of God? Therefore I was unable to relish those waves of love of God! “Why did I not take birth at that time to serve […]

Activities of Devotees

“In the midst of the age of quarrel, devotees of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu hear songs glorifying the bonefide spirtual master. With much enthusiasm they sing the maha mantra of Lord Hari’s names. They adore their spiritual masters and all saintly devotees of the Lord.”
[ Srila Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya, Sri-Susloka-sloka-satakam, sloka 81 ]

Under All Circumstances

,
“We do not require any large buildings to do our preaching work. If Krsna supplies them we may accept any nice facility which He provides. But we will strive to go on preaching under all circumstances.”
( Srila Prabhupada letter to Gargamuni Swami, November 4th, 1970 )

“To those who experience a delightful festival within their hearts and who cause a delightful festival in the hearts of the residents of this world; to those who, after the disappearance of Lord Krishna, have accepted a material human body for the complete deliverance of the general population on earth; to those whose lotus feet are a suitable boat to cross the ocean of material existence; to those devotees of the Lord I offer prostrated obeisances with my head on the ground.”
[ Srila Rasikananda Prabhu, Sri Bhagavatastakam, Text 3 ]

, ,

“I shall pass my life eating only prasad food grains and milk products, wearing only cloth that was offered to the deity, and using only utensils sanctified by the Lord’ service. I will thus remain aloof from material sense gratification. Living in a place sacred to Radha, worshipping the Divine Couple with a blissful mind, I will in time give up my body at the soles of the devotees’ lotus feet, who are themselves serving the lotus feet of the Divine Couple.”
[ Srila Bhaktivinode Thakura, Sri Sri Sva-niyama-dvadasakam, verses 6,10 ]

“Don’t even glance at the external things of this world, whether they belong to you or to others, whether they are as splendid as millions of suns and moons, or whether they possess a great flood of good qualities. Renounce them! Give up all conventional peaceful composure and without caring for anything else, always remember Sri Sri Radha-Krsna and reside in Vrndavana.” [ Sri Vrndavana Mahimamrta Sataka Two Verse 7, by Srila Prabodhananda Sarasvati Thakura]
